A Tribute to Megsy 13/07/85 - (Date unavailable as yet)
There
is one best place to bury a good dog, If
you bury him in this spot he will come to you when you call, Across
the grim dim frontiers of death, And
down the well remembered path to you side again, And
though you may call a dozen living dogs to heel, They
will not resent him for they know he belongs there, Some
may scoff ot you when you tell them this, People
that have never really loved a dog, But
smile at them for you shall know something, That
is hidden from them, something that is well worth the knowing, For
the best place to bury a good dog is in the heart of his master. (Supplied
